When I walked over to check if everyone was alright, the turkeys were already leaving the scene Squirrels use their tails and chattering voices to alert other squirrels when they see a predator on the ground. Those tails must make a great communication (and survival) tool because it is really hard to see them behind the leaves. That’s a shrunk leaf probably hanging on a thin caterpillar thread
